The oral doctoral examination of Sara Talebi, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, August 5, at 2 p.m. in the Center for Science & Technology, room 1-132 and via Zoom. Talebi’s advisor is Professor Arindam Chakraborty. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Timothy Korter, Atanu Acharya, Weiwei Zheng, and Chae Woon Jeong-Potter. Professor Pankaj Jha will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Computational Spectroscopy of Semiconductor Nanomaterials: Mapping Frequency Down-conversion of Single and Coupled Quantum Dots.”
