Dissertation Defense: Mehdi Nejatbakhsh

The oral doctoral examination of Mehdi Nejatbakhsh, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, July 31, at 12 p.m via zoom. Nejatbakhsh’s advisor is Professor Amy Lutz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Prema Kurien, and Edwin Ackerman. Professor Omar Cheta will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “From Exile to Diaspora: Iranians Making TV Programs from Long Distance.”
