Dissertation Defense: Jacob Bartholomew

The oral doctoral examination of Jacob Bartholomew, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 11 a.m. in Maxwell Hall, room 303 and via Zoom. Bartholomew’s advisor is Professor Amy Lutz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Barbara Applebaum, and Sean Drake. Professor Charisse Corsbie-Massay will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Noticing the Person's Race, and Then Being Able to Move Forward With It: An Analysis of Embodied Whiteness at Nix University.”
