The oral doctoral examination of Bhargavi Parthasarathy, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, August 4, at 10 am in Carnegie Library, Room 200 and via Zoom. Parthasarathy’s advisor is Professor Graham Leuschke. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Claudia Miller, and Josh Pollitz. Professor Jennifer Ross will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Homomorphisms of maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules over the cone of general elliptic curves.”
