Wellness Wednesday: Flavors of India + PBWF (Potluck to Follow) A Plant-Based Cooking Demo with Dr. Natasha Sodhi Wednesday, October 28 | 12:15–1:00 PM In person at the JCC Please note: This special cooking demonstration will be offered in person only and will not be recorded on Zoom. Join us for a special Wellness Wednesday featuring Dr. Natasha Sodhi, MD, DipABFM, DipABLM, a Lifestyle Medicine physician and mindfulness facilitator with a special interest in women’s health. Dr. Sodhi brings years of experience in primary care along with her expertise in Lifestyle Medicine, where she focuses on helping people use evidence-based lifestyle approaches—including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep, healthy relationships, and avoidance of risky substances—to support health and well-being. For this interactive presentation, “Flavors of India: A Plant-Based Cooking Demo,” Dr. Sodhi will bring the flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine to the Wellness Wednesday kitchen. She’ll demonstrate how delicious, nourishing plant-based foods can be prepared using flavorful herbs, spices, and whole-food ingredients. Come learn, taste, and discover new ways to incorporate the vibrant flavors of India and more plant-based foods into your everyday meals. Come hungry for knowledge—and a taste of something delicious! Community members do not need to be JCC members to attend. These sessions are free and open to the public as part of Rochester Regional Health's commitment to empowering and supporting the health of our community. Registration is required.
