About this event

Quilling is an art form that involves rolling, shaping, and gluing thin strips of paper to create intricate decorative designs. The rolled paper shapes are pieced together to form elaborate patterns, 3D models, or embellishments for greeting cards and jewelry. In this class you will master basic techniques, build confidence, and leave class with a completed project and the inspiration to continue exploring this creative art form. Carol discovered quilling through an introductory class and was immediately captivated by how simple strips of paper can be transformed into intricate works of art. As an instructor, she enjoys introducing beginners to quilling in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Carol has a lifelong passion for arts and crafts, with experience in oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting. She holds an AAS in Graphic Design and Printing. When she isn't playing pickleball, she teaches and plays American Mah Jongg, creates pottery, and practices the art of paper quilling.
