Wildflower Walk

Join Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center's educator on Friday, July 31st, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:30am to discover the blossoms of summer. You'll get an introduction to the scientific method of naming flowers. After practicing some identification skills, you will join a guided expedition to search for blooms in the woods and wetlands. Along the way, different flower histories and ecological interactions will be discussed. We ask that you please wear shoes that can get muddy and dress appropriately for the weather and bugs. The program fee is $4 per person and up to $12 per family. Children three years old and under are free. Advanced registration is encouraged, as space is limited.
