About this event

The Reproductive Rights Film Festival, New York State’s only film festival dedicated to reproductive rights, returns to Ithaca this September with four free screenings at Cinemapolis (120 E. Green Street) on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday, September 19 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The festival also features free public screenings at Cornell University and Ithaca College, as well as two virtual programs. Visit ReproductiveRightsFilmFest.com for more information. The festival brings filmmakers, advocates, community leaders, and audiences together through the power of film and conversation. This year’s theme, “Here and Everywhere,” reflects the festival’s focus on reproductive rights as both a local and global issue, with films offering diverse perspectives from New York, across the United States, and around the world. Each film screening will be followed by a conversation featuring filmmakers and subject-matter experts, offering audiences of all ages an opportunity to ask questions, exchange perspectives, and engage in thoughtful discussion about the issues explored on screen. The festival aims to create an inclusive space for learning, connection, and dialogue around reproductive rights. All festival films and programs are free and open to the public.
