About this event

Tuesday July 28, 2026, 2:00-3:00 PM via Zoom Register Facilitated by staff from the Dept. of Inclusion & Belonging and Workforce Wellbeing as part of the Community Wellbeing Series*. When you think about your “communities”, who do you think of? Most of us are likely part of many different communities- some are geographically based; others are identity based. Some are connected to our work, while others to our personal interests and experiences. While our communities may look different, they all shape our sense of connection, support, and wellbeing. Community wellbeing though is about moving from a focus on “me” to “we”. It invites us to ask: “How are we doing?”, “What do we need”, and “How can we support our community?”. Join us for this interactive discussion where we will: Define what “community wellbeing” is;Explore how it both differs from and intersects with individual wellbeing; and Discuss ways we can individually and collectively enhance and support community wellbeing in both our workplaces and personal lives. *The Community Wellbeing Series is a collaboration between Workforce Wellbeing (Faculty Staff Assistance Program, Cornell Wellness, Work/Life, and Employee Engagement) and the Dept. of Inclusion and Belonging. The offerings and resources provided through this series are available to all employees and designed with recognition and care for the range of experiences and needs different communities may have when navigating the impact of global, national, local, and campus events and circumstances.
